About Me

Dr. Sanjeev K. Sharma has done MBBS, MD (Gold Medalist) from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur in December 1998. He has done DM(Cardiology) from Premier Institute of India (AIIMS, N. Delhi) in May 2005.
Over-all clinical experience of fifteen years in which he got an opportunity to work in some of the prestigious institutes of the country which includes AIIMS, N. Delhi, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, N. Delhi, SGPGI, Lucknow.
Served as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at prestigious Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, N. Delhi(2005-2007) and had performed large number of complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions during his stint at that Institute.
Has also served as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Heart and General Hospital and at S. K. Soni Super-speciality Hospital, Jaipur in last 3 years.
He has performed more than 11,500 Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Intervention till now. His area of specialization is complex coronary interventions (High risk Primary/ Rescue PCI, PCI for Bifurcation, left main, chronic total occlusion), and Peripheral interventions (Sub-clavian, Carotid, Renal, Aorto-Iliac Interventions).
Has more than 20 publications in International and National journals.
Has participated in large number of International and national cardiology conferences across the globe. He had been invited by American College of Cardiology-Innovation in Intervention-I2 Summit(2010) for presentation of innovative technique of complex renal artery intervention of single functioning kidney in high risk patient with aorto-arteritis.
