Key Ingredients
2 neem leaves (washed and crushed)
Salt as per taste
1 teaspoon of green coriander leaves (chopped)
2 cups of kidney beans
8 cups of water
1 teaspoon of thyme
½ teaspoon of cumin seeds
½ onion (peeled and chopped)
2 tablespoon of refined oil
2 whole bay leaves
Pinch of asafoetida
How to make
Cook the red beans, bay leaves and asafoetida in the cooker for 30 minutes. Next, sauté the cumin seeds, onion, thyme, neem and salt in oil, till it turns golden brown. Add the red beans to it and muddle well. Serve hot!
